Ben Franklin Tech Partners Funds Nine Startups

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA -- The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania announced investments in nine start up companies.  The investment group is a state-funded organization that promotes technology-based companies.

One company, MicroMRI, received $500,000 to help commercialize imaging technologies.  Load Control received $300,000 to continue development of its bolt load measurement application.

Other companies received investments in the $250,000 range:
  • Clear Align - optical engineering
  • Neuro Diagnostic Devices - neurosurgical
  • Moda Technology - Environmental monitoring
  • k Technology - thermal management products for aerospace and defense
